Qian and Will! // Savannah, GA

I am so excited to be posting this wedding (finally)!

Qian and Will are the best of all the people. With this wedding, they literally brought two worlds together. From the food, to the crowd and beyond, this was a beautiful wedding worthy of such fantastic people. Enjoy!

Otero Wedding // Wake Forest, NC

The fun meter was maxing out on this one! Andrew and Erin have to be some of the most lovely, lively and laid back people that I've ever had the pleasure of working with and their wedding day reflected that from beginning to end.

Plus, when the wedding is taking place at the beautiful Crenshaw Hall, I always know it's going to be an easy treat for me as a photog!

Andrew and Erin, may these photos last you a lifetime and a half, and thanks again for trusting me to capture your gorgeous day.

Raleigh Engagement Session: Andrew and Erin

It took us just a few tries to finally make this shoot happen, but I am so glad that I finally got to meet up with Andrew and Erin to grab a few shots before their big day in August.

We met in downtown Raleigh and stopped by a few places that were important to them early on in their relationship, and then we decided to just roam around. That's when we stumbled upon a local festival that led to some hat shenanigans.

I can tell this is going to be a fun one... See you guys in August!

Senior Portrait Session - Julia Hinds

It's always an honor to get hired as the 'official' family photographer. A few years back, doting mother Alexis Hinds hired me to capture some senior shots of her son Ryan, and now here we are again. This time it's her daughter Julia's turn! Not only did we get to do some beautiful shots at a local park, but I also got some really fun shots of Julia all dressed up as a Belle for the Azalea festival.

Good luck to you as you head to Appalachian State University (go Mountaineers!) this fall, Julia!

Wilson Proposal

I've known Hunter Wilson since he was just a freshfaced-freshman at UNCW, and now it's pretty darn cool that I had the honor of photographing him asking the love of his life to share life. Hunter did a great job of planning this surprise for Brooke and it definitely paid off!

*I do want to make one note for the sake of the story below: Right before Hunter dropped to his knee, there was kayaker nearby in the water that got hilariously stuck in the sand and came close to interfering with a beautiful moment. Luckily, the kayaker broke free before the proposal happened and I was able to capture a great moment of his panicked tipping into the water.

Hunter and Brooke, I can't wait to see what the future holds for you two!
