I was grateful for the chance to return to one of my favorite places in the world, Boone, North Carolina, this time with old some of my oldest friends. We spent our days hiking snowy trails, hunting for flannels, and riding alpine coasters. Evenings were slower, filled with card games, overplayed bits, and plenty of local beer. Here’s hoping this becomes a yearly tradition!
